Coppermine Sports’ new CopperPlex is the latest addition to its dynamic array of health, fitness, and sports destinations. CopperPlex contains eight state-of-the-art turf fields, drawing sports tourism to Harford County, Maryland from across the region and the nation. The facility sits conveniently just off i95. On March 10th, 2024, CopperPlex embarked on its inaugural journey by hosting its first tournament of the year, featuring boy’s youth lacrosse. The pristine turf fields welcomed participants and spectators alike, marking the beginning of an exciting series of events. Throughout the year, CopperPlex, the brand new facility under the Coppermine umbrella, is set to host a total of 41 youth sports events. Among these events, Live Love Lax stands out as one of the largest, drawing in 500 youth teams and an estimated 21,000 attendees. The sheer scale of this event highlights the potential and appeal of CopperPlex as a premier sports destination.
In addition to the elite competitions hosted on weekends at CopperPlex, it is where local club lacrosse, club soccer, club field hockey, rec sports and adult sports teams train on weekdays.
